Writing Is My Life
Well, if you haven't already noticed, writing is very important to me. Without writing, I'm not sure what I'd do with myself sometimes. I have found that writing helps me to portray my feelings, and it is one of the few ways that I can express myself and like doing it at the same time. Not only do I express my own feelings through writing, but sometimes I feel the need to analyze a topic through my writing. Many of my poems have a real purpose, other than just to let my feelings out. Some of them, though, are just that. The good ones, in my opinion, are telling the reader something, and they have a message that I am trying to portray. If you're interested, why not check out my blog, the reality of the situation. I try to update it as often as possible (which turns out isn't all that often, sorry.) All of my poetry can now be found within my Virtual Poetry Book. Also, I have written a short story. I know it's not good, and it's very long, but why not Check it out. Along that same line, I have just recently written a parody of Snoop Dogg's song, Drop It Like It's Hot. This parody is about the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe, specifically the one in Chippewa. Ice Man and Franchiz are people that actually worked there at the time I wrote it, which is a fun fact. Another fun parody I wrote was to the tune of Queen's Another One Bites the Dust and is about the bus to hell. Check out Another One Rides the Bus. I've written quite a few lyrics, and I have added all of them to the end of my Virtual Poetry Book. Also, I am attempting to write a dictionary, but I don't know how well it will work. I'm trying to put all of the weird words that I use or hear on it, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know. Check it all out. Anyhow, those are my thoughts on writing. Try it some time, it's not that hard, and it'll make you feel better. |
