Joshua Laughlin

So, this is my home page. I'm going to try and update whenever I can, so keep a watch out for what's new. I've been doing as much as I can to keep this interesting, so please don't hesitate to give me some suggestions. You should check out the other sites on my links page, because they're pretty interesting as well. For a more recent update on what's new in the mind of Joshua Laughlin, check out my blog, the reality of the situation.

Updates:

April 20, 2011. Another month has gone by and I am finally updating again. I made a few cosmetic changes, as you may have noticed. I'm thinking of making some serious changes to the layout over the summer. Otherwise, I added a new page about Running, since I have been doing it so much lately. That will be constantly updating, and I won't be keeping those updates posted here. Otherwise, I made a few changes to my Reading Subsite, including the announcement of the new Inheritance Cycle book on the Eragon Page. Finally, I am updating my Virtual Bookshelf again. Going to need to update the music library soon because I just acquired a ton of new music. Thanks, and enjoy.

March 23, 2011. Well, it's been a while, but I've got plenty of updates to make up for the amount of time I've been away. To start things off, I realized that I haven't updated my Family Page or my Family Gallery in quite a while. I fixed that problem. Next, I promised a Beaver County Photo Album, and I've got it started with some photos I took of Beaver Falls for a school project. Finally, I took a trip down to Washington D.C. this past weekend and I took a bunch of awesome pictures of that as well. Enjoy.

Very important in my life is

and I thought I'd try and show you how I feel about it.

I used to be a big "gamer." I was always on the computer or on the playstation. For the longest time I was obsessed with gaming and rarely did much else. Check out some of the games I liked to play. Those are not all of them, but I plan on adding more later. Recently, though, my "gaming" phase has been on a lull.

I'm real big on expressing myself, if you couldn't already tell. I feel that books are a great way to learn about daily life, and a great expression of an author's feelings. I love reading, and I read just about whenever I can. I've read many great books, and I'd love to tell you what I think about them.

Music is another great form of expression. Whenever I'm in a bad mood, I like to turn up my cd player and just lay down and listen to the music pouring out of the speakers. It's very calming, and if you ever need a "pick-me-up," try it out.

Anyhow, that's about all I got. Remember to check out my links page for some other cools sites. You might find something you like. Check out my blogs, read my poetry if you like, and remember to always Face the Facts, because there's no avoiding the truth.
